Chandler Unified School District announced Monday that it has posted the position of head football coach at Hamilton High, signaling the end of suspended coach Steve Belles' tenure.
A release from the district said Belles would remain assigned to the district.
Belles was suspended indefinitely earlier this year after the Maricopa County Attorney's Office charged three players in connection to violent and sexual hazing in the Hamilton football locker room.
The team was coached this fall by Dick Baniszewski, who will return to his job as assistant principal at Hamilton.
