Free medical appointments available for Phoenix kids at Banner clinics

The free medical appointments can be made at one of Banner's community clinics in the Valley.

PHOENIX — Banner Health is offering free medical appointments for uninsured juveniles living in the Valley.

The healthcare provider announced Wednesday that its community clinics are allowing patients under 18 to book free appointments to receive services.

The types of services available at the clinics include the following:

  • Eye and ear exams
  • Sports physicals
  • COVID tests
  • General sick visits
  • Health education
  • Vaccines
  • Referrals to specialty care

Banner's traveling Healthmobile is also offering medical care around the Valley for children from uninsured and under-insured families. More information on times and locations can be found here.

“By providing no-cost medical appointments at the community clinics and the mobile unit, we hope to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of Arizona’s uninsured children," Lynne Martin, director of Banner Children's community clinics, said in a statement.

Families can call 480-412-6344 to see if their child qualifies for the free services. Banner's clinics are open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
