Unemployed due to the coronavirus? Here's who's hiring

As unemployment rates skyrocket due to the coronavirus, some businesses are hiring. Here's who is offering jobs.

PHOENIX — The coronavirus pandemic has caused many businesses to close and unemployment rates to skyrocket across the country, but some businesses in Arizona are hiring.  

WHITE WATER BOTTLING

One of those places is right here in the Valley! White Water Bottling, a water bottling company near the intersection of 32nd and Washington streets in Phoenix is hiring for several positions, including line production, warehouse workers, delivery drivers, and shift workers.

White Water Bottling will also provide light rail passes for two months for everyone they hire to help new employees get to work.

HONEYWELL 

Honeywell is hiring 500 people as they expand their manufacturing of N-95 masks and other personal protective equipment at their Phoenix Engines campus near 32nd Street and Washington in Phoenix.

The company has started recruiting, hiring and training workers on the site.

Partnership for Economic Innovation and Pipeline AZ, with the help of statewide community partners such as Greater Phoenix Economic Council have organized a community-wide effort to connect people out of work with job openings.  

Job seekers will be connected to immediate openings and job coaches. 

They will also have access to resources for education, training and certifications.

COMMUNITY MEDICAL SERVICES

Community Medical Services is hiring for its corporate location in Scottsdale and clinics in the East Valley and West Valley. 

Open positions range from front desk/medical assistant, case manager, project coordinator, enrollment specialist, counselor and nurses.
