Brophy alumni team up to send supplies to the Navajo Nation

The donations included a 12-pallet delivery of non-perishable food, bottled water, toiletries and hand sanitizer.

WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. — The Navajo Nation now has more COVID-19 cases per capita than anywhere else in the United States. The total number of positive coronavirus cases for the Nation has reached 3,392. There have also been a total of 119 deaths as of Wednesday, May 13.

These staggering statistics are why three former Brophy classmates teamed up to make a 12-pallet delivery of supplies to the Navajo Nation. The donations included non-perishable food, bottled water, toiletries and hand sanitizer.

The three former classmates combined resources from their companies, Four Peaks Brewing Company, Precedo Capital and Sunstate Equipment to collect, pack up and deliver the pallets to Window Rock Wellness Center in Window Rock, AZ on Monday, May 11.

Donations for the delivery also cam from the general public, PurM+D and Phat Scooters. Ryder donated 800 miles to make the trip possible.

If you'd like to help you can donate to someone in need or purchase a gallon of hand sanitizer by going to WeGotYouCovid.com. The hand sanitizer can be purchased for curbside pick up or delivery.
