PHOENIX — Did you catch it? Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema made an appearance in a sketch on this week's Saturday Night Live.
Comedian Cecily Strong played Sinema in a "Charlie's Angels"-inspired sketch titled Women of Congress.
Sinema is one of the clad in white congresswomen headlining the short film. She is introduced as Kyrsten "Kooky Arizona Lady" Sinema.
After showing off an American flag pin that doubles as a blow dart, Sinema crosses her arms and says into the camera, "I used to be in the House but now I’m in the Senate. I’m bicameral, bipartisan and bi. Deal with it."
The Women of Congress features New York Rep. Alexandria "I Say What I Meme" Ocasio-Cortez (Melissa Villaseñor) and California Rep. Maxine “Don’t Go Chasing” Waters (Leslie Jones).
Other special agents, er congresswomen, include Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.) played by Heidi Gardner and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) played by SNL host and musical guest Halsey.
Of course, the crew is not complete without their leader Kate McKinnon as Nancy “Madame Clap Back” Pelosi.
