TEMPE, Ariz. — History... and the Arizona Department of Transportation... have their eyes on you.

Hamilton, the smash-hit Broadway musical, opened at ASU Gammage Tuesday and will run through July 28.

ADOT is having fun with the show coming to the Valley with some of its signature highway signs.

"History has its eyes on you. Buckle up," one of the signs currently says, the first part of which is popular lyrics George Washington sings in the musical.

Tickets for the show are available on the ASU Gammage website.

The Ham4Ham Lottery is also available for every show. Between every Friday at 10 a.m. and Thursday at noon, fans can sign up for the lottery to win two $10 tickets for a performance the following week.

About Hamilton: An American Musical

Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now.  Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre--a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.

With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography. It has won Tony®, Grammy®, and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.
