UA president accepts resignation of CFO in Arizona Board of Regents meeting

Starting in 2025, President Robbins said the university will be ending the Guaranteed Tuition Program and no current students will be impacted.

TUCSON, Ariz. — In the Arizona Board of Regents meeting held on Wednesday, President Robbins announced he accepted the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Lisa Rulney.

Starting in 2025, President Robbins said the university will be ending the Guaranteed Tuition Program and no current students will be impacted.

According to the UA website, the program provides students with a constant tuition rate for eight continuous semesters.

Robbins also said they will not be reducing need-based aid for Arizona resident students.

He also stated there will be no furloughs.

"Work already has begun with our Athletics Department to bolster revenues through ticket sales, maximizing media rights contributions, increasing philanthropy, and reducing costs through centralizing administration functions." Robbins said in the university's action plan.
