COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. — Northern Arizona University intends on having its campus open for students this fall, the college’s president Rita Cheng said Thursday.
The college moved to all online courses in March to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Classes will remain online for the remainder of the spring semester, and graduation ceremonies have also been postponed for the Class of 2020.
Cheng emphasized that the situation could change depending on how the pandemic progresses in the coming months.
Arizona State University and the University of Arizona also intend on having in-person courses by the fall semester in August.
