PHOENIX — Local dairy farm Danzeisen Dairy is recalling pint bottles of cream due to insufficient pasteurization, the Arizona Department of Agriculture said in a release.
The cream has caused no known illnesses but the department detected high levels of an enzyme that indicates improper pasteurization through routine sampling, according to the release.
Danzeisen Dairy is now recalling 360 pint bottles of cream that have an expiration date of April 17, 2019. The company also stopped selling the rest of the affected lot.
If you have purchased one of those bottles, Danzeisen Dairy asks you to return it to the store you bought it at for a full refund. The cream may also be returned to Danzeisen Dairy Creamery near 67th and Southern avenues.
