PHOENIX — A woman has died after she was shot early Saturday morning in west Phoenix, the city's police department tells 12News. The suspect in the shooting, later identified as 24-year-old Teayanna Minter, was arrested.

Phoenix police said officers were called to the area of 3000 W Clarendon Avenue due to the shooting at about 4:45 a.m. on Saturday. That is just southeast of the intersection of 35th Avenue, Grand Avenue and Indian School Road.
