DOLAN SPRINGS, Ariz. — A woman was arrested Wednesday after deputies said she shot her husband.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, detectives were called to a home in Dolan Springs around 12:05 p.m. after a woman called dispatch to report she had shot her husband.
When deputies arrived on scene they said there was a man who had been shot in the back. He was airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital where he is in critical condition, officials said.
Detectives identified Amber Bender, 41, of Henderson, NV, as the suspect and arrested her at another location.
Bender was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman on a charge of attempted second-degree murder.
