An Arizona woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing her parents. Her brother jumped in to help save their lives.

A man and woman were seriously injured after they were allegedly stabbed by their daughter on Saturday morning. Their son jumped in and helped save their lives.

OAK CREEK, Ariz. — A man and woman from the Village of Oak Creek have their son to thank for helping save their lives after they were allegedly stabbed by their daughter on Saturday morning, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office

YCSO said deputies were called to the area of Coffee Pot Rock Drive in the Village of Oak Creek due to reports of a stabbing at about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday.

A YCSO patrol sergeant was the first to get to the home where the stabbing happened and found the suspect, 33-year-old Lauren Levinson on the street. She was then taken into custody.

The sergeant then went into the home where the stabbings happened and found Levinson's mother and father seriously injured.

Levinson's mother had been stabbed multiple times in the back and her father had been stabbed multiple times in his arm.

The sergeant then began working to save the couple's lives and was assisted by their son, who had been called to the home to help.

The son helped the sergeant and Sedona firefighters by helping stop his mother's bleeding and keep her breathing until she could be flown to the trauma center at Flagstaff Medical Center. The son also helped apply a tourniquet to his father's arm.

Levinson's father was taken by ambulance to the Verde Valley Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

YCSO did not have any updates on the mother and father's current medical status.

Detectives from the YCSO Criminal Investigations Bureau and evidence technicians are still at the home investigating the stabbing.
