Woman killed in domestic violence incident

PHOENIX — A Phoenix man has been arrested after stabbing his wife to death, according to authorities.

Aliccia Grant, 37, was killed in what the Phoenix Police Department called a domestic violence incident that turned deadly.

Grant's husband, Stephen Dennis, 35, has been arrested in connection to her death.

Grant was rushed to the hospital she was found by responding officers in the parking lot of a business near Cave Creek Road and Thunderbird Road in the early morning hours of Sept. 9.

She would later die at the hospital.

"During the investigation, a 911 call was received from Dennis, where he admitted to stabbing Grant and gave 911 operators his location," police said.

Dennis is facing a second-degree murder charge, police said.

Police said the investigation into Grant's death remains active.
