Valley man with long history of indecent exposure accused of doing it again, records show

Court records show the 77-year-old man has been convicted at least five times for indecent exposure. He's just been arrested for the same offense.

PHOENIX — A Valley man with several prior convictions of indecent exposure was recently arrested for allegedly exposing himself again at a Phoenix coffee shop, records show.

Larry Stamper, 77, was taken into custody Thursday after a woman identified him as the suspect who allegedly exposed his genitals to her inside a Starbucks store near 39th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

Stamper, who is listed as sex offender living in the Glendale area, has apparently been convicted of committing similar offenses at least five times in the Valley for incidents dating back to the late 1970s, court records show.

One of those convictions was for an incident that occurred in 2002 at a Valley bookstore where Stamper sat across from a woman and exposed his genitals, records show.

Police noted there have been other incidents of alleged indecent exposure where Stamper was identified as a suspect but wasn't arrested.

Stamper was booked Thursday into the Maricopa County jail.
