TEMPE, Ariz. — An 18-year-old woman is dead after a shooting in Tempe late Thursday night, the city's police department said.
She was reportedly shot multiple times by a 20-year-old man she was in a romantic relationship with before he shot himself, investigators said.
When officers arrived at the scene near Interstate 10 and Broadway Road, they reportedly found the two people with gunshot wounds. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the man was transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Detectives are investigating what led up to the shooting. The victims are not being identified at this time.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case.
Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
