PHOENIX — Phoenix police say impairment is believed to be a factor after a man was involved in a crash in a parking lot, drove off and then drove into a local business before crashing into the back wall.
The incident happened Monday afternoon near 33rd Avenue and Indian School Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Police said the man drove off after the initial crash but then collided with the front of a business and continued through the building until the vehicle crashed into the back wall.
An adult female customer was hit while inside the store and was transported with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and a passenger were also transported to the hospital for minor injuries, police said.
No other details were released.
