SURPRISE, Ariz. — A Surprise woman faces two charges for domestic violence aggravated assault after police say she shot her father.
Officers arrested Samantha White Monday afternoon after she had called 911 to report she had shot her father, police said.
Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound inside the house. The man was alert and speaking with emergency personnel and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The shooting happened at a residence near Waddell Road and Bullard Avenue.
Police have not released further information on the incident.
