SURPRISE, Ariz. — A person robbed a credit union that is located inside a grocery store in Surprise on Friday, officials with the Surprise Police Department confirmed with 12News.
Officers with the department responded to the Desert Financial Credit Union near Cotton Lane and Greenway Road just after 2 p.m. after a bank teller called to report the robbery.
Detectives with the Surprise Police Department and agents from the FBI responded to the scene and were not able to find the suspect, officials said. Several interviews were done on scene and surveillance images were obtained by officials.
Detectives are now working with the FBI to identify, locate and arrest the suspect.
No one was injured during the robbery, officials said. No other information was given as the investigation continues.
