Shooting at west Phoenix home injures 2

Phoenix police said a woman and a man both suffered gunshot wounds. The man's injuries are said to be life-threatening.

PHOENIX — Two people were shot Tuesday night at a home in west Phoenix and one man's injuries are said to be life-threatening. 

Phoenix police responded to a call for a shooting at a home near West Indian School Road and North 75th Avenue just after 8 p.m. They found two people, a man and a woman, with gunshot wounds when they arrived, Phoenix police officials said. 

The woman was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay. The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. 

Detectives are actively investigating this incident and are asking community members to call into Silent Witness with any information that could lead the investigation to the person(s) responsible. 480-WITNESS, 480-TESTIGO
