Teen arrested in connection with triple shooting that left 1 teen dead, 2 others hospitalized

Phoenix police arrested the teen on Nov. 3. He is now facing a possible murder charge.

PHOENIX — Phoenix police have arrested a teenager in connection with a triple shooting that left one teen dead and two others with life-threatening injuries on Wednesday, the department said.

The shooting occurred near Roosevelt Street and 43rd Avenue just south of Interstate 10, according to a tweet from the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers responded to a mobile home park in the area just after 3:40 p.m. for reports of gunshots and found the three teens, all male, who had been shot, city police said. One of the teens was found dead at the scene and the other two were taken to a local hospital where they are being treated for life-threatening injuries, officials said. 

A vehicle was also found crashed into a mobile home at the scene, officials said. 

Police took the teen suspect into custody on Thursday, Nov. 30. He was booked into jail on multiple charges including murder. Police say there are no other outstanding suspects.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
