PHOENIX — A shooting in west Phoenix left a man seriously injured, officials with the Phoenix Police Department said.
Officers were called to the area of Thomas Road and North 43rd Avenue just before 4 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, officials said.
Officers are still at the scene investigating the crime. Detectives will respond to the scene to take over the investigation.
