PRESCOTT, Ariz. — A 54-year-old man was arrested Tuesday morning after he allegedly drove from New Mexico to Arizona with the intention of sexually exploiting a teenage girl.
Dominic Ebert was taken into custody shortly after walking into the lobby of a Motel 6 in Prescott after he had allegedly made a reservation to meet up with an underage girl, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect had allegedly been sending explicit photos and audio files to the girl and had specifically sought her out because of her age, YCSO said.
Detectives were waiting for Ebert by the time he arrived to check in at the motel. He was booked into jail and could be facing charges of attempted sexual contact and aggravated luring of a minor.
Public records show Ebert appears to have been previously convicted of similar crimes in New Mexico.
