Sexual assault under investigation at ASU's Tempe campus, police say

TEMPE, Ariz. — The Arizona State University Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that happened on campus, according to authorities.

ASU PD said the assault happened at a residential housing complex at the university's Tempe campus on Wednesday evening.

The victim and suspect were with a group of people before the assault. After the group of people left the residence, the victim was left alone with the suspect and was assaulted, according to police.

Police said an arrest has not been made. A suspect was not identified by police.
