Search underway for man accused of shooting his mother and brother in West Valley

Both of the victims only had minor injuries. MCSO is still looking for the suspect.

MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. — Authorities are searching for a man who is accused of shooting his mother and his brother in the West Valley.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened near 335th Avenue and Broadway Road around 11 p.m. on Monday.

Both of the victims were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and the accused shooter left the scene.

MCSO did not release the suspect's identity.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case. 

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
