ROUND VALLEY, Ariz. — A police officer was arrested on charges related to sexual relations with a minor, according to the Apache County Sheriff’s Office.
The Apache County Special Crimes Enforcement Team detectives received information from a citizen on Oct. 31 about Officer Ismael Amaya-Molina with the Round Valley Police Department having sexual relations with an underage girl.
According to the SCET, detectives investigated by following multiple leads, conducting several videos and executing search warrants. Based on the information detectives obtained during the investigation, SCET detectives and patrol deputies placed Amaya-Molina under arrest on Nov. 9, authorities said.
Amaya-Molina was booked into ASCO Jail on the charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, sexual molestation of a child and stalking.
