It's been over a year since a Valley teacher was murdered. Police doubled the reward to find his killer.

Silent Witness is now offering $20,000 to help find the person who killed David Denogean in Phoenix.

PHOENIX — Silent Witness has doubled its reward money for information that can help find the person responsible for killing David Denogean.

More than a year has past since the Camelback High School teacher and track coach was fatally shot while walking his dog near 12th Street and Maryland Avenue on the night of Nov. 25, 2022.

Security camera footage captured an unidentified man run in front of Denogean, pull out a gun, and shoot him. The suspect then ran south on 12th Street.

The case remains unsolved and authorities are now offering $20,000 for new information that might lead to an arrest.

Silent Witness:

Arizona's Silent Witness program allows people to send in tips and share information about crimes happening within their local communities.
