Reward offered after teen killed leaving Avondale house party in 2023

AVONDALE, Ariz. — A $2,000 reward is being offered for help in solving the murder of a teen in Avondale, according to authorities.

Avondale police said 18-year-old Carlos Arenas was shot and killed on April 8, 2023, after he left a house party. The shooting happened in the area of 114th Avenue and West Almeria Road.

Anyone with information about this case should contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO. Tips can also be submitted online.
