Pinal County assault suspect arrested

Authorities say 39-year-old Patrick Wolfe was involved in an assault against an elderly woman on Saturday evening.

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. — The Pinal County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man wanted in connection to an alleged aggravated assault, authorities said.

On Saturday evening, 39-year-old Patrick Wolfe was allegedly involved in an assault against an elderly woman near Gary and Gail roads. Authorities said Wolfe struck the woman with a hammer before stealing a truck and driving away.

Wolfe was found and arrested without incident, PCSO announced on Facebook.

The woman is critical condition, authorities said. 

The vehicle Wolfe allegedly stole is a 2016 Ford F250, authorities said, with the license plate "IRANCHY" with a horse trailer attached. 

Authorities said that Wolfe has ties to California and Prescott, and is known to carry weapons.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case. 

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
