PHOENIX — A Pima County Sheriff's Department deputy shot a person while responding to a report of suspicious activity.
No deputies were injured.
The department said the shooting took place near Shannon Road and Positano Way.
No other information was immediately released.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
