2 Pima County deputies shot during domestic violence situation; suspect arrested

The shooting happened near Overton Road and Kanawha Street in Casas Adobes.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Two Pima County deputies were injured in a shooting on Thursday night, officials with the Pima County Sheriff's Office told the Tucson NBC affiliate KVOA.

The shooting happened near Overton Road and Kanawha Street in Casas Adobes, north of Tucson during a domestic violence situation, KVOA reports. 

The deputies injuries are not considered life-threatening, a Pima County Sheriff's Office source told KVOA. The suspect was shot in the leg and fled but was later arrested, KVOA reports.
