PHOENIX - A Phoenix man was arrested Wednesday after telling police he shot and killed three dogs that attacked another dog.
Police found the four dogs in a dumpster near 15th Avenue and Deer Valley Road May 6 and found one was microchipped. They identified Troy Sauvageau as the owner of that dog.
Police did not say whether Sauvageau told them his dog was the one that was attacked.
He faces charges of animal cruelty, unlawful discharge of a firearm, illegal dumping and misconduct with a weapon.
