Police have identified the victim as 41-year-old Raul Chavez.
Officers were called to the area just before 4 a.m. where they found Chavez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. First responders pronounced him dead on the scene.
Police said early information gathered by detectives suggests Chavez was involved in an altercation with unknown suspects in the parking lot before the shooting occurred.
