Man dies after being stabbed at Phoenix gas station, police say

Police are currently working to find any witnesses or surveillance video.

PHOENIX — A man has died after being stabbed at a Phoenix gas station Saturday night. 

Officials with the Phoenix Police Department responded to the gas station near Black Canyon Highway and Thunderbird Road just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday and found the man suffering from a stab wound, officials said. 

The man, who has been identified as 34-year-old Diego Razo-Cortes, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died, police said.

A suspect has not been taken into custody and police are currently beginning their investigation by working to find any witnesses or surveillance footage, officials said.
