PHOENIX — Police are investigating a shooting in central Phoenix, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened Thursday afternoon near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road.
The man who was shot has "life-threatening injuries" and has been rushed to the hospital, police said.
Detectives have responded to the scene to investigate the shooting.
