2 men arrested in connection to deadly central Phoenix stabbing

Police said the stabbing happened Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. near 32nd and Roosevelt streets.

PHOENIX — Two men have been arrested in connection to the stabbing death of a Phoenix man this month.

24-year-old Gabriel Celaya and his brother, 37-year-old Robert Celaya were taken into custody and arrested on Nov. 14. Both men are facing multiple charges including murder. 

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the stabbing happened Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. near 32nd and Roosevelt streets.

Police have identified the victim as 33-year-old Milton Gonzales. First responders found Gonzales after reports of an injured person in the area and he was rushed to the hospital but did not survive, police said.

Police called the stabbing a "violent attack."

The program shares unsolved felony case information in multiple ways, including TV, radio and social media.

Anyone who has information on a crime or recognizes a suspect described by the program is asked to call 480-948-6377, go to the program's website online or download the Silent Witness app to provide a tip. The identity of anyone who submits a tip is kept anonymous.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
