PHOENIX — A man driving a stolen UHaul box truck is facing multiple charges after fleeing from police Wednesday night, officials with the Phoenix Police Department said.
The stolen truck was first spotted at 6 p.m. by officers near 23rd Avenue and Camelback Road then traveled to 107th Avenue and Camelback Road. The driver fled from police and was tracked to "multiple locations" before the driver stopped near I-10 and Baseline Road, Phoenix police officials said.
The man was taken into custody and then transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation, officials said. No information was released on if the man was injured during the incident.
The suspect is facing multiple charges related to the incident.
