Edward Charles Gouer Jr., 44, was arrested following the theft, police said.

Security video taken on Oct. 26 showed a dark-colored Chevrolet Trailblazer drive onto the church's property. The Trail Blazer parked behind the church's F-250 truck and trailer, both of which were parked on the property.

Police said someone must have gotten into the church's truck.

"Shortly after, the truck headlights are seen turning on, and the truck and trailer begin to drive away, leaving westbound with the Trailblazer following," police said.

Just over a week later, on Nov. 5, police received a tip that led them to the missing trailer in Tonopah.

"That same day, detectives drafted a search warrant and recovered the stolen trailer along with all its’ contents," police said.

The silver F-250 truck was not found on the property and is still missing, police said.
