Valley apartment complex found littered with shell casings after man shoots at units

Police said the incident happened on Wednesday at an apartment complex near Dysart and Buckeye roads.

AVONDALE, Ariz. — One man is under arrest after he shot into an apartment complex in the West Valley, according to authorities.

The Avondale Police Department said the apartment complex, near Dysart and Buckeye roads, was found littered with shell casings by responding officers Wednesday afternoon.

Multiple 911 calls were made to report the incident, which happened at around 5 p.m., police said.

One man was arrested at the scene. His name was not released by police.

Police said the shooting damaged apartments in the complex.

No injuries were reported.
