GLENDALE, Ariz. — The DEA has been involved in a shooting incident with a suspect at a shopping complex near 43rd and Peoria Avenues in Glendale, according to authorities.
Details about injuries were not released.
A 12News crew on scene reports that a large portion of the shopping center is blocked off by crime scene tape.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said it is taking over the investigation into the shooting from the DEA.
The DEA issued the following statement:
“This evening DEA was conducting a law enforcement action in Glendale that resulted in a shooting incident with a suspect. The Arizona Department of Public Safety will lead the investigation into this matter. DEA will not comment further as this situation is being investigated.”
