"During the stop, the deputy became suspicious due to inconsistent statements made by the driver of the vehicle," according to the sheriff's office.

The driver gave deputies consent to search the vehicle, the sheriff's office said.

K-9 Officer Dex was brought in to aid in the search and sniffed out the meth hidden in the vehicle, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspect's name has not been released. They are facing the charge of transportation of dangerous drugs for sale and have been booked into the Coconino County jail.
