PD: House party shooting sends 1 to the hospital with 'critical injuries'

The shooting happened at a house party that took place near the intersection of 99th Avenue and Indian School Road in Phoenix. Here's what we know.

PHOENIX — Police are searching for a shooter after a young adult was dropped off at a hospital in the West Valley with "critical injuries," according to the Phoenix Police Department. 

The department told 12News that they were called due to shots being fired near the area of 99th Avenue and Indian School Road, but officers were not able to find any evidence of the shooting. 

However, a young adult was later dropped off at a nearby hospital, and officers learned that the person had been shot at a house party near 9950 W. Indian School Road. 

That person is being treated for "critical injuries" and detectives are investigating the shooting.  

No other details about the shooting have been released.

Police have not been able to identify a shooter, but if you know anything about this, you are asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377). Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
