Man killed in road rage shooting at West Valley gas station

The shooting happened at the QuikTrip near the intersection of Dysart Road and Van Buren Street in Goodyear on Saturday. A suspect has been taken into custody.

GOODYEAR, Ariz. — One man is dead after a road rage incident led to shots being fired at a gas station on Saturday, according to Goodyear Police

On Saturday morning, officers were called to the QuikTrip gas station just north of the intersection of Dysart Road and Van Buren Street due to the shooting. 

Officers found one man who had been shot. That man was taken to the hospital where he later died. That man was identified by police on Sunday as 44-year-old Eric Manson. 

Police say they believe this shooting was the result of a road rage incident.  

A man was taken into custody after the shooting.
