Flagstaff man who posted mass shooting threats on Yelp arrested in Montana, police say

The police department says the man posted on various school, government and business Yelp review platforms about threats referencing mass shootings.

Flagstaff police are searching for a man who allegedly posted mass shooting threats online.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A Flagstaff man who allegedly posted mass shooting threats on Yelp has been arrested, the city's police department said.

The Flagstaff Police Department received reports about posts on various school, government and business Yelp review platforms.

The posts included threats about mass shooting incidents, police said.

The police identified Justin Hill, 36, of Ash Fork, as the person who posted the threats. An arrest warrant was issued and law enforcement arrested Hill in Bozeman, Montana on Sunday morning.

"The non-stop work hours and asset resources made available by all agencies involved to quickly apprehend Mr. Hill underscores our dedication to protecting our communities from threats of violence and ensuring public safety," the Flagstaff Police department said in a news release.

The Flagstaff Police Department, the Coconino County Attorney’s Office, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Bozeman Police Department all helped to make the arrest possible, the Flagstaff police said.
