PHOENIX — A shooting in east Phoenix on Saturday night sent a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Phoenix Police.
Police say the shooting happened around 7:30 on Saturday night near the intersection of 48th and Roosevelt Streets. When officers got to the scene of the shooting, they found a man who had been shot at least once.
That man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The area around the shooting has been shut down as police investigate.
The victim has not been identified and police are still investigating what led up to the shooting.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
