K-9 officer Kato sniffs out 20K fentanyl pills during Prescott Valley traffic stop

K-9 officer Kato finds 38 pounds of Meth and 20,000 fentanyl pills during Prescot Valley traffic stop.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — With the help of K-9 Officer Kato Prescott Valley police have arrested two Phoenix men on narcotics-related charges.

Erik Zamora-Bernal, 33, and Eduardo Ramirez, 18, were arrested on Tuesday during a traffic stop after they were found with 38 pounds of Meth and 20,000 fentanyl pills, said authorities with Prescott Valley PD.

Police said Kato used his drug-sniffing skills to locate the meth and fentanyl in the vehicle Zamora-Bernal and Ramirez were traveling in when they were stopped by officers near State Route 69 and Glassford Hill Road.

"Both individuals admitted to their involvement in the offense," said police.

According to police, the men were booked into the Yavapai County Detention Center.
