CHANDLER, Ariz. — Two people involved in a vehicle pursuit with DPS troopers on I-10 Friday night fled on foot after officials deflated their tires with spike strips, officials with the Arizona DPS said.
Troopers tried to pull the vehicle over for a traffic violation on westbound I-10 in Pinal County. Officials said they laid spike strips and the car came to a stop near I-10 and Ray Road on the boundary of Phoenix and Chandler.
The driver and passenger bailed out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, officials said. One person was caught and officials are still searching for the other.
No injuries were reported.
