Have you seen this man? He is accused of stealing an ATM from a hotel lobby in downtown Chandler

A man walked into a hotel lobby in downtown Chandler on Aug. 15 and stole an ATM. Police now need your help finding him.

Chandler police are looking for a man who stole an ATM from a hotel in downtown Chandler on Aug. 15, 2024.

CHANDLER, Arizona — Police in Chandler are asking for the public's help finding a man who allegedly walked into a hotel lobby in downtown Chandler in broad daylight and walked out with an ATM last month. 

Police were called to the Crowne Plaza Resort, located at One North San Marcos Place in Chandler at about 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 due to a burglary. 

They discovered a man had walked into the lobby of the hotel with a dolly, unplugged an ATM and walked out with it. The suspect then allegedly loaded the ATM into a white Toyota Rav4 and drove away. 

The suspect is described as a Black man in his 30s with a mustache, beard and was seen wearing a gray jumpsuit and hoodie. 

Silent Witness released surveillance footage of the burglary, which can be seen below. 

If you have any information on who the suspect is and where he may be, you are asked to call Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS (948-6377). Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
