PHOENIX — A person is on the run after stabbing a Circle K employee and stealing cash out of a register in Phoenix early Friday morning, the city's police department said.
The stabbing and robbery happened at one of the convivence store's locations near 32nd Street and Union Hills Drive at around 12:19 a.m., police said. The employee, who officers have not shared the identity of, is recovering at a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police have not shared a description of the person they suspect stabbed the employee. Investigators are on the scene working to learn what led up to the incident.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
