TEMPE, Ariz. — The defendant arrested last year for sneaking into Tempe homes and threatening women has been sentenced to prison.
Djimon Boggs, 25, was sentenced last week to 25 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and burglary, according to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office.
Boggs was arrested by Tempe police last October after he was connected to multiple instances of women waking up to find a trespasser in their home.
In two of the incidents, Boggs was scared off by the women screaming out for help. But in one of the encounters, Boggs assaulted the victim at gunpoint, officials said.
As part of his sentence, Boggs will be required to register as a sex offender.
