PHOENIX — A man has died after he was shot Sunday morning and the Phoenix Police Department is looking for a suspect.
Police told 12News the shooting happened on the 1600 block of the Black Canyon Access Road, just north of McDowell Road, at about 5 a.m. on Sunday.
When officers got to the scene, they found a man who had been shot multiple times. The man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and later died, police said.
The deceased man has been identified as 47-year-old Moses Ayala.
Police have not yet found a suspect and are continuing to investigate the shooting.
